Ich habe eine neue kleine Musik-Reihe gestartet bei der ich ausgesuchte Stücke covern möchte. Das erste Stücke ist von Giveon und heisst „Heartbreak anniversary“. Ich habe das Stück im weiteren Verlauf etwas schneller gemacht als im Original von Giveon. Wenn es Euch gefällt hinterlasst ein „like“ und teilt es bitte. 🙂

Der Song „heartbreak anniversary“ von dem Künstler Giveon handelt davon, dass jemand um den Abbruch einer Liebesbeziehung trauert und wohl noch ein Jahr danach traurig darüber ist, also dann wenn sich der Tag der Trennung jährt. Das lyrische Ich beschreibt die Situation, dass noch Gegenstände und Sachen der anderen Person in der Wohnung verblieben sind und daher eine Art traurige Souvenir darstellen. Das lyrische Ich dachte diese Beziehung für immer halten und versteht nicht, dass die andere Person gegangen ist und sich getrennt hat.

Weiterhin erzählt das lyrisch Ich davon, wie sie immer noch Hoffnung hegt, wie ungeöffnete Geschenke und dass das lyrische Ich immer noch die Nachrichten sieht, die die geliebte Person gelesen hat (aber wohl unbeantwortet ließ) und sie einfach nicht aus dem Kopf bekommt. Also sie muss immer noch, trotz der Trennung an die Person denken.

Ich finde den Text sehr schon zu den traurigen Liebesliedern und Trennungs-Liedern gehört.

The song „heartbreak anniversary“ by the artist Giveon is about the fact that someone mourns the breakup of a love and will probably be sad about it for a year afterwards, that is, when the day of the separation was a year ago. The lyrical slf describes the situation that the other person’s objects and things are still left in the apartment and therefore represent a kind of sad souvenir. The lyric self thought to hold this relationship forever and don’t understand that the other person has left and broken up.

Furthermore, the lyric self tells of how it still has hope, like unopened gifts and that the lyric self still sees the messages that the loved one has read (but probably left unanswered) and the lyric self just doesn’t get the person out of its Head . So the lyrical self still has to think of the person despite the separation.

I think the lyrics are very much one of the sad love songs and separation songs.
